Allergan Recalls Biocell Textured Breast Implants

On July 24, 2019, Allergan voluntarily recalled their BIOCELL textured breast Implants because of a rare link to a form of cancer known as breast-implant associated anaplastic large cell lymphoma (BIA-ALCL). An implant type rarely used in my practice, for the past 30 years to date I’ve never seen this reported occurrence. I remain available to evaluate your breast implants and to discuss any concerns you may have.
