I’ve known Amelia for a long time because she’s been one of our surgical nurses here at The Aesthetic Center for Plastic Surgery. We’ve done some other procedures for her in the past, and today she’s asking me if she could just do a little mini facelift.
A mini facelift is really meant for someone who has just a slight sag in the cheek along the jaw. It’s a procedure that I do in the office under a local anesthetic, and it’ll take me about two hours. She’ll have just a little bit of swelling and maybe a bit of bruising, but it should be gone within a week to two weeks.
[Speaking to Amelia] You have plenty of hair to camouflage the incision. I’m going to make the incision underneath the sideburn hairline and then in this crease—this notch—in your ear, and then along the cartilage, then in the crease in front of the ear, and back in the crease behind the ear. So it will be really easy to hide the scars. View Amelia’s mini facelift results here.Contact us to schedule your consultation with Dr. Patronella. Virtual consultations are available here.
