"One of the Ten Most Dependable Plastic Surgeons of the Western United States"

Pregnancy, gravity, and aging are all contributing factors that can cause the breasts to lose volume and firmness. By combining a breast lift with breast augmentation surgery, Dr. Patronella often is able to transform the breasts in a single procedure using a Delay Fill Technique he developed which greatly improves the results of this traditionally challenging procedure combination. Because of the successful results he’s achieved with this method, Dr. Patronella was invited to write a chapter on the Delay Fill technique in the publication for plastic surgeons: Seminars in Plastic Surgery. The Combined Breast Augmentation & Breast Lift Procedure

In this 2-3 hour procedure, Dr. Patronella performs a breast lift, reshaping and raising the breasts into a more youthful position on the chest. He then inserts saline implants into breast pockets he forms under the chest muscle and partially fills them with a sterile saline solution.

In 10-14 days, he completes the inflation of the implants to the final desired volume during a minor office procedure that takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Staging the combined breast augmentation and breast lift procedure in this way results in a more ideal healing process, allowing breast tissues to gradually adjust to the greater breast volume and firmness. This procedure is performed on a outpatient basis, and most women can return to work and many of their normal activities within a week.
