A “bottom out” or breast fold failure occurred on the right breast of this lady after breast augmentation. A capsular contracture (scar tightening) occurred on the left that caused the implant to appear excessively high. The corrective procedure involved repairing and elevating the right breast fold and eliminating the capsular contracture on the left. New implants were placed and positioned higher on the right and lower on the left to improve balance, shape and symmetry.
