In the this patient you can see that, while she has very significant stretch marks on her abdomen, when I pull the skin taut during a True Form Tummy Tuck procedure, the stretch marks are not nearly as apparent. They are much harder to see. Stretch marks are still present on the lower abdomen—many have been transposed from from up high on the abdomen to a lower position. While her sides look more toned after her procedure, the stretch marks are still noticeable because a tummy tuck is not performed there. But on the abdomen, they tend to improve dramatically with the tummy tuck procedure.
