What can I Expect During Treatment?
Smaller areas such as the upper lip and bikini areas can often be treated in 10 minutes or less. Larger areas can take 30 minutes or longer.You many experience temporary redness and a sunburn-like sensation in the treated area that may last for a few hours or several days, but most patients’ normal activities are not interrupted. Treated areas can be soothed with cooling gels or cold compresses. Dr. Patronella advises that you avoid sun exposure for a few days after treatment to avoid hyperpigmentation of the treated areas.
