Safety is his primary consideration in meeting their needs, and he has instituted the highest safety standards at his surgery center, the ACPS SurgiCentre, to maximize safety.  The SurgiCentre is certified by the American Association of Accredited Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF).  In addition, it goes beyond accepted standards by maintaining licensure with both the Texas Department of Health and the federal Department of Health and Human Services.  Each member of the highly skilled SurgiCentre team has been hand-selected by the surgeons to provide expert medical care and personalized service.  Dr. Patronella uses only board-certified anesthesiologists to administer anesthesia and monitor patients before, during, and after their procedures.

 

If he feels you need further monitoring after surgery, Dr. Patronella may recommend an overnight stay in one of the center’s private recovery suites, where you will receive attentive care from a highly-trained staff of registered nurses.  Once you have returned home, Dr. Patronella may recommend a private visit to your home from a certified medical professional through ACPS’s unique Home Health Care Program.  This skilled professional will monitor your condition, change your dressings , and provide Dr. Patronella with an update on your recovery.

 

If you desire more extensive care and support, ACPS has contracted with the premiere home care service company,  Recovery Care,  to provide you with comprehensive assistance.  Their staff will monitor and provide for your comfort in every way, prepare meals, pick up prescriptions and groceries, answer the phone, and relay your communication needs to your family and physician.
