Cellulite Appearance

Cellulite is a hormonal condition that gives the skin’s surface a dimpled, bumpy appearance.  Cellulite is comprised of fat deposits that accumulate and form fat lobes under the skin. As the connective fibers between the lobes shrink, the lobes press out against the skin to produce the rippled appearance of the skin. 
 
New technologies have developed to reduce its appearance, through the use of a special instrument that gently massages and lifts the areas of the body affected by cellulite.   In the process, the connective tissue is stretched, resulting in improved circulation, skin retraction and skin tone. Some patients experience the loss of inches in the affected areas once treatment begins. 
 
Those who undergo 30-minute treatments once or twice a week will typically begin to see results after four to six weeks.  Maintenance programs will help you to preserve the smoother look of your skin.
