Ab Sculpting for 6-Pack Abs

Ab Sculpting defines the abdominal muscles to give men a “six-pack” stomach or “washboard” abs. Dr. Patronella uses a procedure called liposculpture to create subtle ripples in the abdominal area by accentuating the underlying abdominal muscles.

Using a small hollow tube cannula tube that is inserted through one or more tiny incisions, he selectively removes fat so that muscular contours become more prominent.

The incisions are hidden in the natural creases of the body and leave very small scars. A typical male waist that is 36-40 inches around can be safely reduced to 28-32 inches with this procedure.

However, an ab sculpting procedure is not a substitute for a weight loss program. The ideal candidates are those who are not extremely overweight but who have isolated pockets of fat in the waist and abdominal regions.

Ab sculpting can be performed in an hour or less under general anesthesia. Most men can return to work in three to five days and resume workouts in a week.
